Hobbypoint  -   Fredrikinkatu 61  (all kinds of crafting supplies, incl. miniature models)              

Eurokangas  -    Yliopistonkatu 5 (fabrics)                     

Villisilkki    -     Yrjönkatu 12-14    (high quality fabrics)   

Nappitalo - Yrjönkatu 12 (buttons, zippers, ribbons, etc.)      

Snurre       -     Malminrinne 1 B (yarn) 

Taito Shop Helsky - Eteläesplanadi 4, (yarn etc.)

Kirstikki - Mannerheimintie 49 (yarn, sewing supplies & machines etc. , a bit further from the city center, but easily accessible)

Vihreä Vyyhti - Toinen Linja 1 (yarn and supplies, by its name a green yarn store, again a bit further from the city center, but easily accessible, in Hakaniemi)

Punainen Lanka - Hakaniemi Market Hall (buttons, ribbons, zippers etc.)

          Kangaskauppa Inkuri   - Arkadiankatu 19 D (fabrics)

In Academic bookstore you'll find a nice selection of craft books (2nd  floor) and some craft magazines (1st floor). Some crafting supplies in Suomalainen Kirjakauppa. You can also check out any Marimekko shop for their colourful fabrics (you can find them for example in Kamppi shopping centre or in Galleria Esplanad shopping centre)!
