Amigurumi Bunny pattern in English

This bunny is crocheted, except for the ears which are knit.
  • The yarn used here was smc select Apiretto with a creamy light beige colour (08126). There's a touch of angora wool in the yarn, which brings the slight fluff to it.  The bunny is about 20 cm tall.
  • I used a 2.5 mm crochet hook.  The hook can be smaller (if you can still manage to crochet this yarn with it) but a bigger hook will not bring a good result for this amigurumi.  For the tail I used a 1.75mm hook (different yarn). For the ears I used 3.5 mm knitting needles, but smaller or bigger ones are possible, too.
  • Use a stitch mark to carry along at the last stitch of each row!
  • Please note, I'm using UK crochet terms for the pattern.

Take white yarn, as fluffy as possible.  Use a hook as small as you can crochet the yarn with, I had 1,75 mm (I don't know the brand of yarn I used, I'm afraid.)

Fasten off, leave a long tail of yarn, leave the opening as is.

Assembly:
Sew the ears to the head
Sew the body to the head
Sew the arms and legs to the head
Sew the tail to the head
Sew a nose and mouth for the bunny (and eyes, if you didn't use safety eyes)
Sew a piece of felt on the belly
Decorate as you wish!

Tip: if you feel like the neck is too thick, take a piece of yarn and wrap it around the neck a few times and tighten slightly. Sew the ends of yarn inside the bunny.

Finished! A new bunny friend is born!

The pattern for non commercial use only.
